Who owns my domain?
You do. We register it in your own name through Porkbun, so you are the owner on the record. If you ever want to move it, we help you transfer it. It is never held hostage.
What happens if I leave?
You can leave the care plan at any time. You keep your website files and your domain. Because hosting is part of the care plan, the site comes down 30 days after you give notice, so you have time to move it or take it elsewhere.
How fast do you reply?
We reply within 2 working days, whether you email, phone or send a quote request.
How long does a job take?
It depends on the job, so we do not promise a number here. When we reply to your quote we give you a timescale, and you see a private preview on your phone before you commit to anything.
What does the care plan include?
The care plan is £11.99 a month. It keeps your site online (hosting is included, with no separate price), covers up to 3 small changes a month such as text, photos or opening hours (they do not roll over), fixes if anything breaks, renewal reminders and help setting up email.
Can I send you my own website files?
Yes. Email them to us or share a folder link and we put them live, with no build fee. Hosting is included with the care plan and is for simple static sites made of ordinary files. If you do not take the care plan, you host the files elsewhere.
Can I have email on my own domain?
Yes, by forwarding. It is free: mail to [email protected] is passed on to the inbox you already use, like Gmail. Replies come from your own inbox. We help you set it up.
How do I pay, and is VAT added?
One-off prices are paid by card through a secure link we send you, and the care plan is paid by Direct Debit. Your card or bank details never go through this website. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Domains renew yearly, and we email you the price early.
