Your domain
What is a domain?
Your domain is your address on the web, like yourbusiness.co.uk. We register it in your name, so you are the owner. More about domains (new tab).
What does "Available" mean?
Name taken? We can try to get it for you
We'll try to buy it from the owner for you. £9.99 if we can't get it, £20.99 if we can, plus whatever the owner asks, which you agree before we buy. No guarantee. Read how it works.
How the prices work
The more years you choose, the less you pay per year: the totals above already include that saving. A domain for more than one year is paid in full when we buy it, and years you do not use are not refunded. Each later year is counted at today's renewal price, which can change, so a total is an estimate. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. We confirm the final price when we reply.
The care plan
The simple way to keep your site up to date and looked after, every month. Hosting, which keeps your site online, is included.
Not sure what a small change is?
Changing your opening hours, a price, a photo or a typo is a small change, and 3 a month are included. A new page, a new look or a new feature is bigger, and is quoted separately. Static hosting is included in the care plan, so there is no separate hosting price.

Hosting
What is static hosting?
Hosting is where your website lives, so people can visit it. Static hosting is for simple, fast sites made of ordinary files (pages, styling and images), served with the padlock (HTTPS).
It is not WordPress and it has no database, so a shop or online booking needs something extra, quoted separately. Most small business sites do not need either.
Hosting is included. You chose the care plan, so your site is hosted and kept online at no extra price.
No care plan, no hosting. Hosting is included in the care plan and is not sold on its own. Without it we can still register your domain and build your site, but we hand you the files and you host them elsewhere.

What is forwarding?
Mail sent to [email protected] is passed on to an inbox you already use, such as Gmail. It is free. We do not store your mail, and your replies come from your own inbox. We set it up on request, so it is not instant.
Or your own mailboxes
A mailbox is a real inbox on your own domain ([email protected]) that you can send and receive from, on your phone or on the web. It is billed yearly per mailbox, and we set it up for you.
